HONEST REVIEW: UPPA BABY VISTA Stroller | Double Stroller Review

Have you ever been OVERWHELMED by the research required before making a big purchase such as a DOUBLE STROLLER!? Holy cats. I've spent hours trying to figure out what one is best, only to be slightly (okay, VERY) turned off by the price. Is it really worth the money? Will I actually use it?

After a few requests (okay, LOTS), I have finally got around to telling you my HONEST opinion on the UppaBaby VISTA Stroller & MESA Carseat.

So, I had mixed feelings about this stroller when I first got it. I mean, the stroller itself, is totally GORGEOUS. I know, the function of the stroller is why you're here, but I do have to touch on aesthetics. I have to admit, at first, the look of the stroller totally drew me to it! It's FREAKING pretty. Every little detail is GORGEOUS, & the material is really nice, in my opinion.

Does this stroller look good with my outfit? Why yes. Yes it does.

Okay, now that we've got the aesthetics under control, and we've come to the conclusion that the stroller is absolutely beautiful, let's talk about the FUNCTION of this stroller.

It is a tandem stroller - so instead of riding side by side, they're one in front of the other! (PRO). Another cool thing about this stroller is that it has a Piggyback Ride-Along Board for an older brother or sister (if they exceed the weight limit for the Rumble Seat)

I do love how lightweight the stroller is, and it’s a seriously smooth ride. We’ve taken this thing with us so many places, and it has lived in our trunk for most of it’s life… and it’s a beast. It’s pretty, but it’s a beast! Getting it in and out of the car is fairly easy. Yes, it takes up majority of my trunk in my 2020 Toyota Corolla, but the groceries still fit, so hey! Who cares? (PRO)

It's super easy to fold/unfold. & I love that the bassinet, mesa carseat, and toddler seat just click right in and out. To put it in, it clicks into a spot on either side, and to remove, you push the button down, and take it out. SUPER EASY. (PRO)

The bassinet is a nice extra, however, I DO wish it was sold separately. (CON). Not everyone needs a bassinet (us included - as my Father made one for us). But, with that being said, if you know ahead of time, you wouldn't need to purchase an additional bassinet. (PRO) This bassinet can be used in your room, in the stroller, WHERE EVER. Take it with you to grandma and grandpas, take it to aunt Susie, and cousin Dolly's house (okay, I'm getting carried away), but you feelin' me?

The bassinet, toddler seat, & rumble seat all have a UV protection layer that pops out which would be perfect for all of your summer walks in the neighborhood! (PRO).

Next, we have the MESA Carseat that attaches right to the stroller, with NO adapter (PRO). Just like the bassinet, it just clicks in! On top of that, the carseat itself is really light! Which is awesome, when you're trying to juggle LIFE, with a newborn and a toddler. We never have enough hands as parents. Adeline seems to love this carseat too. It's cushioned nicely, and I like to call it the "Cadillac" of carseats. (It better be for price). *For a carseat cover, I LOVE Gliz Designs. They're a Canadian-based baby boutique! She has TONS of fabric options, and is not limited to carseats. She also makes baby blankets, baby nests, covers of all kinds, nursing pillows, and can even MONOGRAM/CUSTOMIZE anything! I do LOVE how much space is in the bottom basket as well. I can carry everything but the kitchen sink with me! (Which is what I like to do, because I like to be totally prepared for the apocalypse at any given time). (PRO) Plus, it has a weight limit of 30 lbs. I don't even have to carry my backpack!

Now, the Rumble Seat. Let's start off by saying what you probably already know: it clicks in nice and easy - YAY! (PRO). However, it literally NEEDS all of the attachments in order for it to be easy to handle. (CON). BUT, with that being said, once you get the attachments - this stroller is a DREAM.

I'm also SHOCKED at how clean it stays. With getting white, I was a little nervous, but WOWZA. The material is SO nice, and stays looking pretty fresh! (I already have too much cleaning to do, so that's a BONUS!)

We LOVE walking through our neighbourhood, and down all the trails with our UppaBaby Stroller! Also, this stroller has done wonders for my mental health (HA - okay, not the STROLLER, itself, but the ability to EASILY get both girls out of the house in a hot second!). Going for walks has never been such a breeze! (Pun intended).

Not only is it beautiful, but it carries EVERYTHING you need!! I highly recommend This stroller. (This is the one we have - white). It's also available in GREY, GREEN & the NEW BLUSH.

So, in conclusion:

There is only 2 CONs in my opinion - which comes down to money:

-Very expensive, WITHOUT all the add ons, especially if only to be used as a single stroller (I don't think many people would do that).

-Add on's are extra $$ & it adds up very fast. (what stroller doesn't come with a coffee cup holder!?)

Add ons:

LOWER adapters UPPER adapters

& those are my only two major complaints! I do believe however, that if you buy BRAND NEW, you would be able to get some of your money back when you're done with it, by selling it on a garage sale, or somewhere local., as long as you keep it in mint condition.

In the end, I think we have most definitely got A LOT of use out of our stroller, and I DO think it's worth the money. Especially if you plan on having more then one baby, close in age, then I recommend do it. It's a GREAT double stroller. And again, is worth the investment! <3

Hope this helps, and let me know what else you would like to see reviewed! xoxo
