KETO-CARNIVORE HOMEMADE RANCH DIP

When I first made this ranch dip, it was when I was dairy free and gluten free.. now, I'm doing the whole "Keto - Carnivore" Diet - how times have changed.

Even since going on the Carnivore Lifestyle change, I like to add variety! I am still staying in Ketosis by tracking my carb intake and keeping it below 15g / day. This low carb, Keto - Carnivore Friendly homemade ranch dressing uses minimal ingredients, and can double up as a dip for vegetables or on salads, or if you're Carnivore - chicken! It's even kid-approved!

I'm a ranch snob, and I must admit this recipe is the best ranch dip you will ever eat. We have a local bakery where I live that sells THE BEST dill dip, but to be honest, they've been off their game and I've purchased way too many $9 dill dips that were just BLAH. After much consideration, I decided to stop spending $9 on a cup of dill dip that I can make myself for a fraction of the price.

I fell in love with it, but when I brought this ranch dip as a side for veggies to a pool party, EVERYONE was asking me for the recipe! Shout out to Amanda from This Crazy Life on Youtube for sharing it in one of her youtube videos years and years ago and I've been making it ever since, with my own tweaks!

Here is the recipe!


INGREDIENTS:

1 cup mayo, I love this one for keto-carnivore friendly ingredients.

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dill

1 TBSP parsley

salt and pepper to taste

2 tsp apple cider vinegar

4-6 TBSP organic heavy cream, depending how "runny" you want it (ex. dip or dressing!)


DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients together, stir well and store in the fridge! Notes: This recipe is VERY flavorful and garlicky. I've never tried it, but I'm sure you could half the spices for a less potent homemade ranch!
