HOW TO DECORATE YOUR HOUSE WITH TODDLERS + SIMPLE SPRING DECOR TIPS

Writer: Brianne WalterBrianne Walter

I am so excited for spring!! After a VERY long year (I know you can relate), we are finally getting into warmer weather! I started spring cleaning a month ago (you can see it all on my Youtube Channel here) to help boost my mood, as I am ready for winter to be GONE! So, now that my house is totally clean, it's time to decorate! But, with small kids, sometimes it can be very difficult to decorate the house, as kids are like tornados. They constantly destroy everything in their path.. & last time I checked, I didn't spend $50 on a piece of decor so I could watch it get smashed by my 2 year old. So, in today's video, you can find 5 simple spring decor tips when you are a mama to toddlers / little kids! So make sure you check that out for the tips, plus some cleaning motivation!

  1. Change out your regular towels to more Spring coloured patterns!

  2. Dress up your couches with spring pillows!

  3. Add some florals to your decor! I put together some beautiful pastel colours in a DIY blush pink mason jar to create a super simple decor piece to my table, and other areas of my home.

  4. Change out your soap dispensers! You can purchase cute ones off of Amazon like these glass ones, or you can take off the label (I show you how to in this video), if you have a cute one that you like! & of course, if it matches your decor!

  5. Throw on a cozy blanket on your couch to keep it looking comfy!

  6. Get rid of your out of date diffusers / scentsy's etc.

As a busy mama, I know how it feels to constantly be looking at childrens bright, vibrant toys! So, these are all VERY SIMPLE tips that can help make your home a little more cozy, and less toddler-like! Although, I try to embrace the stage and know it's just a phase, and this too shall pass.. I hope these super simple decor tips help you! Since implementing these tips into my own home, I've not only been less stressed, but it's also starting to feel more like a "Home"! Thanks for tuning into today's post! & remember: Sharing is caring! xoBW
