These pieces will not only make your home feel festive but also add a touch of your personal style. Let’s dive into the details and some creative tips for styling each one! 1. Bells

Bells are the perfect festive touch to add a bit of charm and sophistication to your decor.

  • Where to Style: Attach them to garlands (set of 3), wreaths, or cutting boards for a rustic, cozy look. They also shine when placed on mantels or console tables. I love this bell garland and the vintage look it gives.

  • Tip: Mix metallic finishes and vintage for added depth and interest.

2. Garland

Garlands are a holiday classic for good reason. They bring greenery and texture to any space.

  • Where to Style: Drape them along staircases, mantels, or built-ins. You can even use them to frame doorways or windows, using the adjustable rod hack. While I haven't personally tried this hack yet, I have been toying around the idea - I hear it's a lot harder than it looks!

  • Tip: Layer in fairy lights, stems, or ribbon to create a fuller, custom look.

3. Seasonal Candles

Candles instantly create a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

  • Favorites: Try seasonal scents like pine, cinnamon, or vanilla. For taper candles, I love these unscented viral christmas tree candles, as well as pillar candles. They add that festive touch, are super affordable, and are available in numerous different colors, shapes, sizes, as well as flameless! Perfect touch to add to your Holiday decor this year.

  • Where to Style: Cluster them on coffee tables, dining tables, mantel or bookshelves for that soft holiday glow.

4. Digital Art Prints

Add a modern touch to your home with seasonal digital art prints.

  • Where to Style: Swap out your regular wall art or frame them for console and side tables. They’re an affordable and easy way to refresh your space for the holidays.

  • Tip: see here how to add that vintage look and feel to your digital art prints

5. Potted Trees (Controversial but Trendy!)

Potted trees are a versatile, minimalist alternative to traditional Christmas trees.

  • Where to Style: Use them to fill empty corners, tabletops, or even bathrooms. Their simplicity brings a fresh, natural, earthy vibe to any space.

6. Stems

Stems like Norfolk pine, cedar, juniper, and cypress are my go-to for adding greenery. I find these to be super affordable for a faux look. Of course, you can go foraging and get the real deal, but if that's not an option for you - I highly recommend these stems.

  • Where to Style:

    • Arrange them in vases.

    • Tuck them into garlands for a fuller look.

    • Snip smaller pieces and style them atop coffee table books or dining settings for that festive touch.

  • Tip: They’re a budget-friendly way to elevate your decor without buying extra garlands.

7. Ribbon and Bows

Nothing says Christmas like ribbons and bows! 2024 is the year to add bows to everryyyyythiinggg!!

  • Where to Style: Wrap them around vases, cutting boards, or my new personal fav: taper candle holders. Use them to dress up staircases, your christmas tree, and garlands.

  • Tip: Experiment with textures like velvet, chiffon, or satin to match your aesthetic. There's so many possibilities to add that festive touch and to make it your own.

8. Knit Stockings

Stockings aren’t just for the mantel anymore. Their texture and charm make them a standout decor piece, and not everyone has a mantel!

  • Favorites: Look for knit options! They add so much texture to your space. I love mixing and matching different neutrals to create cohesion and depth. These ones with scalloped details are a personal favorite (or try unique patterns) for added warmth.

9. Wreaths

Wreaths are incredibly versatile and come in various sizes.

  • Where to Style:

    • Mini wreaths: Hang them on the backs of dining chairs or barstools, or even in your kitchen hanging from your cabinets.

    • Larger wreaths: Display them on front doors, bay windows, or even range hoods in the kitchen.

  • Tip: Layer in ribbon or bows for a custom, luxe look. You can also purchase a wreath with ribbon and bows and customize them but swapping it out for this years colors!

10. Filler (Pinecones)

Pinecones add an earthy, organic element to your holiday decor.

  • Where to Style: Scatter them across dining tables, bookshelves, or mantels. They also pair beautifully in bowls or vases as a centerpiece.

  • Tip: Forage them for free, or find affordable options at Hobby Lobby, Amazon, or even the dollar store.
